MY TEACHING
Teaching has always been a part of my life. My philosophy is that teaching is always accompanied with enthusiasm, led with empathy, and driven by disciplined engagement. Whether for private lessons, summer camps, community schools, large lecture halls for non-majors, or knit-tight seminars, I strive to encourage my students to think critically and find the access point from interdisciplinary examples for a deepening perspective of the material.
Fun Fact: I am singing in this picture - not teaching, but would you have known the difference? #Bastienne unt Bastienna (Millikin University, 2017)
